Skyy Hadley,

born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri is a seasoned professional in the beauty industry and recognized as the best of the best early in her career. A graduate of Penn-Valley Community College, Skyy made her official debut in the industry in 1997, when she received her cosmetology license from House of Heavilin Beauty College, Blue Springs.

Aspiring to become a “Manicurist to the stars”, Skyy relocated to New York City the following year, performing manicures and waxing services at Hair Styles by Joseph in Manhattan. Soon she became recognized and acknowledged by industry veterans. Elite national magazines such as “O” The Oprah Winfrey Magazine, Glamour, In-Style and Vogue featured her amazing talents; however, New York Times had to feature her twice for her amazing quotes when it comes to nail care. Having cemented her expertise, Skyy was sought after by premiere salons such as Prive and Bliss Spa. At the same time, her list of celebrity clients steadily grew; stars like Liv Tyler, Uma Thurman, Faith Evans, P. Diddy (Sean Combs), Isaac Hayes, Mariska Hargitay, Charli Baltimore, Drew Barrymore, Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monae, LaLa Anthony, Common, NBA Legendary Charles Oakley and Chris Webber and the late deceased Johnnie Cochran. She became a fixture during “Fashion Week”, working with top designer Toni Maticevski and his models.

In 2003, Skyy fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning her own spa and launched As “U” Wish Nail Spa® in Hoboken, NJ. The Spa has been featured in many hit TV shows, the latest being TLC’s “Cake Boss” (2012) plus “Love & Hip Hop” Season 2 on VH1 (2012), also featured on Channel 11 Morning News. Forever evolving, Skyy has developed an all-natural exfoliating cream for the bikini area called Coochie Kuchee Coo™ , which is currently available for purchase at the spa and online shop.
